HOW TO PREPARE PEARL RICE

  1. Combine 1 cup of rice and and 2 cups of water in a large pot or sauce pan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat. Cover and let simmer for 15-20 minutes or until water is absorbed.
  4. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes.

For firmer rice: reduce water by 1/4 cup
