Easy Carne Asada Tacos Recipe 🌮

Makes: 6-8 tacos

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs skirt steak (½” slices)
  • 1 pkt La Preferida Carne Asada Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 
  • ½ onion, thinly sliced
  • Corn or flour tortillas 

Optional

  • chopped cilantro
  • chopped tomato
  • chopped onion
  • Lime wedges
  • La Preferida Salsa Verde

Prepare the meat: In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Sear skirt steak on both sides and stir in the carne asada seasoning, mixing thoroughly.

Cook the onions: Add sliced onion, reduce heat to medium, and cook until onions are softened, about 5-7 minutes. Serve. 

Assemble Tacos: For each taco, place a few slices of steak onto  the tortilla. Top with cilantro, tomato, onion, salsa verde and a squeeze of lime.
