1. In a medium saucepan, bring 1 2/3 cups of water to a boil. Add Spanish Rice seasoning packet and stir.

2. Bring back to a boil. Reduce heat to medium. Cover, and simmer for 3 minutes.

3. Remove from heat. Let stand, covered, for 8 minutes. Stir before serving.
